Job Description:

Under the general direction of the Chief Operations Officer, this position is accountable for the successful administration of the branch in accordance with policies, procedures, and guidelines of the YMCA of Greater Tulsa Association. The Executive Director oversees the management of programs, membership, volunteer and staff recruitment and development, fundraising, and collaborations with community agencies in meeting the needs of its members and program participants. The Executive Director will work with Association Staff in consistency of programs and membership as well as innovation, strategy and management of risk.Required:

• Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years YMCA exempt/professional work experience or equivalent in a related field or company
• Volunteer or Staff supervision experience
• Proven ability to raise funds and grow membership
• Proven ability to work with a volunteer board/committee
• Knowledge of the YMCA as a membership organization
• Knowledge & experience in budgeting, financial development, and board / community relations.Preferred:
  • Master's Degree
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish
  • Current CPR/AED, First Aid, O2 Certification
